37/ Organized Type

A great week of community letterpress workshops at W2 Community Media Arts. Every session was packed and we made some really cool stuff. Kris Krug came by and snapped a bunch of photos throughout the week, which you can see in this set on his Flickr page.

We engaged dialogue about type, community, and claiming public space. We even talked about being invisible while we worked on the press. Thanks to everyone that came and participated in Organized Type - it was a great time and i can't wait to attend the next series of workshops.

34/ Lertterpress At W2

Testing type (Futura Bold Condensed) in a heritage press from Woodwards.
It's becoming a social enterprise for W2 Community Media Arts, and will include workshops, typography classes and other fun stuff.
