32/ Response in Bright Yellow

Made these pictures to describe the movement of someone in transition. The painting with both faces I'm not so fond of for this purpose, but like where it leaves the space in the middle. Unobstructed and a little blurry.

31/ Joey in Whaler Bay

This painting is derived from a photo taken in Whaler Bay at low tide, a few feet from the studio doors. It is a prototype for the dimentions and scale pertaining to a body of portraits I've just started.

A new body of work I've called "(T)here in Spirit" includes 20 of these portraits, and several paintings that examine the physical movement of response.
