Sumner Brothers: Record Art

The Sumner Brothers are a band native to Vancouver, and play some of the best modern folk/blues you'll hear. They're genuine, engaging, and loyal to their roots. I had the privilege of creating a record jacket for the self titled record which incorporates images of their family in a cinematic, and musical context. I worked with photographs supplied from the band, coffee stains, ink details, and the texture of a book from the 70's for the textural background.
