09/ Pixels

Installation: Studio Wall

Had this idea a year back about making scaled up pictures out of pixels. the idea originally was supposed to be type, like extremely close up version of your computer screen, depicting words that contradicted the idea of individuality.

I thought maybe I could test a bigger version in the studio with a photo of Rachelle i took at a friends birthday. This is sort of a prototype for a scaled down version, this one being 3 times the size - each pixel spray painted, and measuring 3" square.

Painted on a portable wall, measuring 8' x 12'
